Position Highlights:
- Comprehensive cancer center accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer
- Outstanding quality of life; 4 day or 4.5-day work week with limited home call
- 90% outpatient, 10% inpatient
- Approximately 90% Oncology and 10% Hematology (providers see solid tumor cases; breast, lung, colon and prostate)
- Ramp up quickly – established practice averaging 30 new patients per month
- State-of-the-art equipment, including 1.5 Tesla MRI, Siemens Sequoia and Juniper for Ultrasound and 128 slice CT scanner
- Well-trained & experienced APPs, nurse navigators and support staff
- Oncology clinic conveniently located near radiation oncology, infusion center, radiology services and the inpatient unit
- Hospitalist team admits – Oncologist is consulting physician; low inpatient census
- ACGME accredited Internal Medicine and Psychiatry Residency Program affiliated with Indiana University School of Medicine
- Employed by Deaconess Specialty Physicians, a system of 900 providers
- $615,000 Sign on Bonus of $50K
