About the job:
The ideal candidate must have office experience be open to performing other legal administrative duties including:
- File with local courts
- Edit and finalize litigation documents
- Calendar court dates and deadlines
- Daily calls with courts and sheriffs offices
- Managing a steady volume of calls throughout the day
- Mailing, faxing, or arranging for delivery of legal correspondence to clients and court officials.
Required Qualifications:
Fluency in Spanish/English - verbal and written communication.
Minimum of 2 year experience in legal or office setting
Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
Job Expectations:
- Open availability to work full time between the hours of Monday through Friday 8 hours/day and half day on Friday (our office is closed on Federal holidays)
- Overtime offered as business needs permits.
- Ability to sit/stand for extensive periods of time.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Fundamental knowledge of legal terminology, court rules and procedures.
