The Senior Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, testing, debugging, and deploying embedded real-time software for autonomous avionics systems. The role involves developing software for integrated systems combining firmware, FPGA, and hardware, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams using Agile and Lean methodologies, mentoring junior engineers, contributing to technical design reviews, and supporting the development of reliable, mission-critical embedded systems.
5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
Experience with Embedded C .
Experience with at least two of: Embedded C Software, Embedded Software Security, Software Architecture Design and Implementation.
Experience with embedded RTOS such as VxWorks, Linux, Green Hills, or Integrity.
Experience integrating hardware, firmware, and software.
Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance.
U.S. citizenship required.
Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field.
Experience reading electrical schematics.
Familiarity with VHDL or Verilog.
Assembly language experience.
Experience with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
Experience developing device drivers.
Experience with bare-metal systems.
