Embedded Software Engineer (Remote)
Summary
Join a team building cutting-edge space systems. You’ll develop embedded software for space sensor payloads, working on small, power-constrained hardware from design through deployment.
What You’ll Do
- Develop embedded software and system interfaces
- Deploy and support Linux-based and real-time operating systems
- Work across the full lifecycle: design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Build reliable, fault-tolerant systems for space applications
What You Bring
- 5 years of software engineering experience
- Strong skills in C/C and Python
- Experience with Linux and multithreading
- Background in RTOS and system deployment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Nice to Have
- Hardware drivers, communication protocols, FPGA exposure
- Image processing or simulation tools (MATLAB/Python)

- 100% Remote, may require up to 2 weeks travel per quarter
This is a Contract position based out of Tucson, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $67.31 - $85.00/hr.
