Assistant Designer

We’re an established company seeking a creative, eager to learn Assistant Designer for our Sleepwear Department with 1-2 years of experience in sleepwear, loungewear, and/or underwear. This role is open to candidates with Men’s, Women’s, and Kids experience. We work with several brands as well as private label.

Responsibilities:

· Update CADs, detail sketches, and trims to match any updates in proto and bulk approval

· Maintain and organize seasonal binders consisting of CADS and factory submits

· Support the preparation of professional presentations with CADS, fabrications, and garment samples for meetings as needed

· Facilitate customer/factory/seasonal sample pick up and drop off needs

· Assist with seasonal research in the market as it pertains to silhouettes, fabric, trim and prints

· Maintain PLM Updates as needed

· Create/share all seasonal NuOrder images in the designated folder

· Manage priorities and meet design calendar deadlines.

Requirements:

· Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop.

· PLM Experience is a plus

· Portfolio required at time of interview

· Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

· Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred.

· Ability to pivot freely between priorities each day

Salary Range: $55k - $65k

Start Date is as soon as possible.
