Metallic Coating Technician, Sylmar, CA

Pay: $27.42 hourly

Shift: 1st, 5:00am-1:30pm, Monday-Friday

As a Metallic Coating Technician you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

• Manufacturing production workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., vacuum chamber coating, organic coating, stripping etc..)
• Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
• Load & unload racks of parts, touchup/rework, process rejects, operates hand tools where necessary.
• Perform daily total preventive maintenance checklist inspections in the area.
• Material handling of glass, acrylic, coatings, and acids.
• Work order documentation, record keeping, and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull 51 lbs or more.
• Prior experience in vacuum chambers a plus.
• Prior experience in thin film deposition a plus.
• Prior experience in aerospace transparencies a plus.
