Your impact
- Create precise welds on carbon steel, aluminum, and thin-wall stainless tubing that meet or exceed project specifications.
- Transform blueprints and welding symbols into accurate, production-ready fabrications.
- Uphold rigorous quality standards through thorough inspection and verification.
Core responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding across multiple metals and thicknesses, emphasizing thin-wall stainless tubing.
- Interpret technical drawings and symbols; plan sequences for efficient fabrication.
- Assemble and fabricate metal components per project needs.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections for quality assurance.
- Maintain a tidy, safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
- Partner with teammates and other departments to hit deadlines.
- Diagnose and resolve fabrication and fit-up challenges quickly.
Qualifications & experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Hands-on background as a TIG welder/fabricator.
- Strong command of welding techniques, materials, and shop safety.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
