POSTED ON 10/15/2026

Help Shape Project Wins. Develop People. Influence Growth.

WHO WE ARE

We're an established and growing commercial electrical contractor in North Carolina with a reputation for taking on challenging projects and delivering results. Our Preconstruction team plays a critical role in that success. We don't view estimating as simply producing a number—we view it as understanding the project, identifying risk, developing strategy, building client confidence, and positioning our Operations teams to execute successfully. We believe in working smarter, continuously improving our processes, and adopting technology where it creates a meaningful advantage. Our culture values honesty, curiosity, creativity, accountability, and an entrepreneurial mindset. We're looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator who wants more than a traditional estimating role.

YOUR IMPACT

This is a visible and influential position within our Preconstruction team.

  • Develop Winning Strategies: Build competitive, profitable estimates while identifying opportunities, risks, and advantages others may overlook.
  • Think Beyond the Electrical Drawings: Review the complete project documents and understand how architectural, structural, mechanical, civil, and schedule considerations affect the electrical scope.
  • Build Client Relationships: Participate in meetings, communicate effectively with clients and project partners, and help strengthen long-term relationships.
  • Mentor Estimators: Review work, share knowledge, improve consistency, and help develop other members of the Preconstruction team.
  • Bridge Preconstruction and Operations: Lead effective project handoffs and help ensure Operations understands the assumptions, opportunities, risks, and strategy behind the estimate.
  • Navigate Incomplete Designs: Develop defensible budgets and estimates from conceptual, schematic, design-development, and imperfect construction documents.
  • Support Design-Assist and Design-Build: Work collaboratively with clients, engineers, vendors, and internal teams to develop practical and cost-effective solutions.

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT

Many estimating positions are primarily measured by how many bids get completed. We expect more from a Senior Estimator. You'll also have the opportunity to help develop people, improve processes, and contribute to the continued evolution of our Preconstruction group.

We're looking for someone who wants their judgment and experience to matter.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Salary: (competitive compensation bonus), commensurate with experience
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Significant opportunity for professional and leadership growth
  • A company that values continuous learning, technology, initiative, and smart decision-making
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both projects and the organization

INTERESTED?

If you're an experienced electrical estimator who wants greater influence, responsibility, and opportunity than a traditional estimating position provides, we'd like to hear from you. We're particularly interested in people who understand that a great estimate isn't simply accurate—it positions the project to be won and successfully built.

Interested candidates should submit a polished resume and a short cover letter. Show us you can communicate and sell your abilities as effectively as you can develop and present a major project estimate.
