Powersports Ninja Coach/Assistant Ninja Coach
Coaches will be responsible for the supervision, safety, progression, and retention of students in their NINJA WARRIOR and NINJA IN TRAINING classes. Coaches will be skilled and willing to teach children of all ages (2-18) the fundamentals of tumbling and physical fitness in preschool, beginning, and advanced leveled classes, and work special events such as competitions, performances/exhibitions, birthday parties, camps/clinics, open gym, and parents nights out. Performs other job-related duties or tasks as required. Coaches must be 18 years of age or older. All employees will undergo a 90 day probationary period from original hire date. Throughout the probationary period, management will monitor each employee’s progress, provide feedback, and determine whether or not employees will continue in their current position.

- Responsible for the safety and progression of all participants in the program during instruction

- Maintains all paperwork, attendance sheets and registration forms for assigned groups * Represents Powersports in a professional and positive manner
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Skills:
Strong communication skills appropriate for children
Strong spotting skills for levels 1-5
Knowledge and understanding of all Ninja Kids rules and guidelines (or willingness to learn)
Certifications: First Aid/CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
Abilities:
Work successfully with young people of school age
Provide clear instructions and direction
Properly spot standing/running tumbling
Physical Demands Of Position:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects. The position requires mobility including the ability to move materials weighing up to 25 pounds on a regular basis such as boxes/bags of activity materials, sports equipment, etc.
Experience And Training:
High School Diploma or equivalent; or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the above-described duties.
All-star and/or college level participation in the sport applying for is a plus.
Experience working with children in an educational and/or athletic setting
Necessary Special Requirements:
Possession of or ability to obtain current First Aid/CPR certificates within 90 days of hire.
Because this job is considered safety sensitive, a background check is required. Random drug screens may be required throughout employment.
Starting Salary $8.00/hour (assistant coach); $9.50/hour (coach) or higher dependent upon skill set and level of responsibility. Coaches are typically scheduled to work 10-15 hours per week; more hours may be available. Primary shifts are mid-afternoon to evening and weekends.
