Duties
- Lead and supervise a crew in performing lawn care, landscape maintenance.
- Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality workmanship across all outdoor projects.
- Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently, including mowers, and trimmers.
- Manage crew schedules, coordinate project timelines, and ensure timely completion of all tasks.
- Maintain safety standards by enforcing proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols during outdoor work activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or groundskeeping.
- Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in outdoor or construction settings.
- Familiarity with hardscaping construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team in outdoor environments.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles required; must be comfortable driving trucks or utility vehicles.
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; experience in tree care or gardening is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction practices related to landscaping projects is preferred.
