What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Removal Crew and Plow Drivers position at High Definition Lawn Care?
We are looking to hire candidates who are interested in joining our company for snow removal season. Our season for snow removal is valid from November 1st through March 31st.
This position can have very odd hours, which can vary from early morning, daytime, to nighttime hours, whenever it snows, until the jobs are done. It is a very on-call basis. Hours are not guaranteed.
Snow removal experience, with a plow or not, is a plus but not required. Work is done in the snow, so appropriate attire is needed, as well as reliable transportation. Cold conditions are prevalent during this season. Lifting/pushing snow will be apart of the job.
What you will do:
- Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots.
- Use shovels, snowblowers, or plow trucks.
- Spread salt and ice melt to keep walkways safe.
- Work flexible or early morning hours when it snows.
What We Need From You:
- A strong work ethic and ability to work in cold weather.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and do physical labor.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred but not necessary for Snow Crew position (it is required for plow truck drivers).
- Availability to work on short notice when winter storms hit.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
