Salesforce Administrator

NOTE: This is a full-time employment opportunity (No C2C, subcontractor or 1099 engagements, please). The candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card) and be able to complete/pass/maintain a public trust background investigation. This is a remote opportunity with preference given to candidates local to the DMV (DC/MD/VA) metro area with ET time zone work schedule.

Daily Responsibilities

• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis.
• Work with project team to understand and document requirements for designing, developing/configuring, testing, and deploying the CRM solution.
• Work with architects and developers to transform functional requirements into Salesforce.com design, features, and implementation.
• Customize and implement users, Profiles Role Creation/Maintenance, Sharing Rules, Custom Objects, Custom and Formula Fields, Page Layouts and List Views, Workflows and Approvals, Validation Rules, Dashboards, Reports, Assignment/Auto Response /Escalation, and Process Builder.
• Maintain and enhance visual layouts and workflow rules to enhance business processes and improve user experience.
• Provide support to Salesforce users in all groups to resolve issues with Salesforce based applications
• Remain current on Salesforce.com best practices and technologies and advise on these practices for Salesforce based solutions.
• Assist functional team with creating training materials, documentation for new users, and help train new end- users on the new CRM platform.
• Supports testing cycles (DEV, QA, UAT), and user training

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, as mandated by our government client.
• Must be able to complete/pass/maintain a public trust investigation.
• Although this position is remote, preference is given to candidates local to the DC/MD/VA metro area.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce administration.
• Understanding of the out-of-box Salesforce product suite, including Service, Community Cloud (Experience Cloud), App Cloud, and Einstein solutions.
• Knowledge of the standard capabilities of SFDC and successfully expanded on those capabilities using process builder and/or integration with external systems.
• Analytical skills to respond to requested changes and identify customizations across all native and custom objects.
• Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Force.com.
• Experience working with and/or supporting Salesforce integrations with tools such as MuleSoft is preferred.
• Experience with meta-data migration between Salesforce.com (SFDC) Sandboxes and Production Orgs.
• Experience with Release Management, Source Control, and Deployment concepts and technologies such as ANT, SFDC Metadata API, GitHub, Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines.
• Experience with system configuration using profiles, roles, workflows, approval processes, custom objects, validation rules, formulas, process builder, flows and data loader.
• Strong interpersonal communication, written communication, and customer service skills.
• BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline.
• Certification in one or more of the following is a PLUS:
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer
• Salesforce Certified Administrator

Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The annual salary range for this position is $57,900 - $89,900.
