about the position… Power Design has an opportunity for a Custodian to join our organization for the overnight shift. Hours will be 6 pm to 2 am. position details/responsibilities… Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming. Gather and empty trash. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Dust furniture, walls, and all vertical and horizontal surfaces. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas. Request supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Perform general laborer work and miscellaneous tasks as needed and assigned by Facilities Manager or Property Manager. here’s what we’re looking for… High School diploma or equivalent. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good client/customer service skills. Ability to read, write and understand instructions. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to work effectively with a team. Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort. Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn. 2-3 years commercial verifiable cleaning experience needed. Ability to stand or be on feet for good portion of shift. Ability to lift 50 lbs on occasion. Ability to accommodate an overnight work schedule.
