Position: Technical Project Manager
Department: Integration
Direct Report To: Integration Manager

PowerBuilt is a national leader of custom material handling solutions with an emphasis on lift assist, conveyors, and pre-engineered equipment. PowerBuilt is based out of Bellefontaine, Ohio with sales offices in Nashville, Charlotte, and Dallas. PowerBuilt's clients include many of the largest automotive, appliances, and heavy truck/bus manufacturers in North America.
Position Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for customers throughout project implementation
- Conduct design reviews with customers and vendors
- Evaluate vendor equipment specifications to meet project requirements
- Identify scope creep
- Obtain quotations from sub-contractors
- Sub-contractor management and coordination
- Schedule adherence
- Site visits throughout all phases of the project life cycle
- Budget management - labor and materials
- Project closeout and Punchlist management
- Final drawings / documentation packaged for pre-engineered and integrated projects
- Project status reporting to internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Project Management experience
- 2D structural steel print reading
- Project site management, up to 25% travel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor degree in technical field
- 2D and 3D CAD experience
- PLC and HMI programming understanding
- Electrical and/or pneumatic control systems implementation experience
- Robotic and automated equipment implementation experience
