Our facility is managed by Power Wellness Management, a company that specializes in managing state-of-the-art medically integrated health and fitness centers. Power Wellness serves hospitals, healthcare systems, universities and community colleges with varying portfolios. We provide a comprehensive menu of services to plan, create, develop and manage an inviting, customized, and economically self-sustaining fitness and wellness center.

The Seasonal Pool Associate is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to members and guests of the pool and facility, as well as membership information, enrollment procedures, and ongoing customer satisfaction. This person is also responsible for providing a safe environment for the members and guests while using the slides in the aquatics area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversee interactions at the service desk and/or admissions desk including opening and closing procedures, answering phones, point-of-sale transactions, guest registration and fees, accepting member feedback, accepting and returning lost and found items, guest/member check in, and the provision of information pertaining to all scheduled activities and events including sign up and fees if applicable.

2. Knowledge of all opening and closing procedures, including balancing of drawers from daily sales, proper knowledge of credit card and check policies and use of cash drawer.

3. Effective radio communication with all departments as needed.

4. Work towards achieving established satisfaction metrics such as Secret Shops and Member Survey scores as it relates to member and guest satisfaction.

5.  Gatekeeper responsibilities that include verifying valid membership.

6. Responsible for sending patrons up the stairs and down the slide in a safe, organized and timely manner.

7. Must be able to stand for length of shift (generally 3-6 hours at a time).

8. Monitoring and maintaining safety in the catch pool.

9. Be proficient in all core business software as it relates to job duties and responsibilities.

10. The ability to be flexible and accommodating as it relates to center hours and work schedules.

11. Must meet all safety requirements and certifications necessary to perform job duties.

12. Demonstrate complete knowledge of emergency and safety procedures and confidence communicating with EMS.

13. Participate in Company's HIPAA and related training.

14. Oversee food service activities including opening and closing procedures, taking and delivering food orders, and providing excellent customer service.

15. Prepare, store and serve all food and beverage products in accordance with local health department regulations and guidelines.

16. Maintain cleanliness of the department's food and beverage storage, prep, equipment, service, and dining areas in accordance with all local health department regulations and guidelines.

17. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during interactions and work-related relationships with all persons at the center including but not limited to members, guests and employees as provided in the Employee Handbook at the time of hire.

19. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• CPR/AED certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Must possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills, and the ability to work with members in a positive, service-based manner.
• Minimum 6 months related part time experience or part time training preferred.

• Ability to multi-task and maintain a controlled and professional demeanor.
