What are the responsibilities and job description for the Exterior cleaning and fence staining tech position at Power Washers Unlimited?
We're a Wichita pressure washing company. Most of your time will be spent washing fleets (trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment) at our customers' job sites. As fence jobs come in, you'll also help our crew stain and seal fences. It's outdoor, physical work, and no two days look exactly the same.
What you'll do
- Wash commercial fleet vehicles and equipment on site using pressure washers and cleaning chemicals
- Set up, run, and break down equipment, and keep it in good working order
- Prep fences for staining by cleaning them, then apply stain and sealant with sprayers, brushes, and rollers
- Follow all safety rules, including PPE and chemical handling
- Hook up and tow our equipment trailer to job sites
- Load and unload the truck and trailer, and leave every job site cleaner than you found it
- Show up on time, represent the company well, and be respectful to customers
What we're looking for
- Must know how to pull a trailer
- Reliable. You show up, you're on time, and you tell us early if something changes.
- Comfortable working outside in heat, cold, and wet conditions
- Able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet all day
- Detail-oriented. A clean truck or a clean stain line matters here.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
- A plus: comfortable driving and parking large delivery trucks
- Experience is a plus but not required. We'll train the right person.
