Repair Technician

Position: Service & Repair Technician

Location: Jacksonville, FL (Onsite)

Salary: $18-$20/hr with room for growth

Shift: 8am-4pm M-F

Position Summary

The Service & Repair Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of auto-teeing golf ball engines that incorporate both mechanical and electrical components. This role ensures equipment operates safely, reliably, and at peak performance for customers, while delivering a high standard of service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues within auto-teeing golf ball systems.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• Test systems after repair or installation to confirm proper operation and compliance with specifications.
• Identify root causes of failures and recommend corrective and preventative actions.
• Document service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and recommendations in service reports.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, operations, and customer support teams to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and service vehicles in a safe and professional condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school or vocational training preferred.
• 2 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical service or repair.
• Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, sensors, motors, and power supplies.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automated machinery or electromechanical systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs or motor controllers.
• 5S organizational knowledge
  
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

• Equipment repair: 2 years (Preferred)
