Social Media Content Creator (In-House Video + Photo)

Power Meter City is an e-commerce business specializing in cycling products. We operate both a showroom and a warehouse that fulfills orders nationwide.

Role Overview
We’re looking for a self-sufficient Social Media Content Creator who can take ownership of our content from start to finish. This role involves shooting, editing, and posting content across our social media channels, primarily Instagram and YouTube.

This is not a “just film what we say” role—we want someone who can contribute ideas, help shape content direction, and consistently produce high-quality content.

Responsibilities

• Shoot video and photo content in our showroom and warehouse
• Edit videos for social platforms (Reels, Shorts, YouTube)
• Capture product demos, educational content, behind-the-scenes, and promotional content
• Post content to Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook
• Write captions and help decide what content to create and publish
• Collaborate with our team while taking ownership of execution

Requirements

• Strong video editing skills (Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar)
• Basic photo editing skills (Lightroom, Photoshop or similar)
• Understanding of social media formats and trends (Reels, Shorts, etc.)
• Ability to work independently without constant direction
• Portfolio or examples of past work required (video photo preferred)

Schedule

• Approximately 15–25 hours per week to start
• Mix of in-office time (content shooting) and remote work (editing/posting)
• Flexible schedule that will evolve as we refine the workflow

Compensation

• $30–$50/hour depending on experience and skill level

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience with e-commerce or product-based brands
• Interest in cycling or outdoor sports
