What are the responsibilities and job description for the E-Commerce Bicycle Warehouse Administrator position at Power Meter City?
E-Commerce Bike Store Warehouse Administrator
Full-Time | On-Site
Power Meter City is looking for a Warehouse Administrator who is detail-oriented, reliable, and takes pride in keeping things organized. If you’re someone who works quickly without cutting corners — and can keep a warehouse running smoothly while supporting a fast-paced cycling business — this could be your role.
About Power Meter City
Founded in 2016, Power Meter City is your go-to source for power meters and related cycling gear. We started with a laser focus on offering the best selection of power meters, along with the knowledge and support needed to get the most out of them. Since then, we’ve expanded to include a wide range of bike components and accessories — but our commitment to expert service hasn’t changed.
We’re a small, rider-run team that believes in fast support, honest answers, and helping cyclists (from beginner to elite) ride smarter and stronger.
Our Culture
We move fast, work hard, and take pride in doing things right the first time. Everyone here is responsible for their own to-do list — but we back each other up, communicate clearly, and never let the details slide.
We value accuracy over rushing, consistency over guesswork, and we’re building a team of people who care about every order that leaves the warehouse. If you’re the type who double-checks your work, keeps things organized, and takes pride in sending out the right products on time — you’ll fit in perfectly. And while we move quickly and take the work seriously, we also make space to joke around and enjoy the ride — because cycling should be fun on and off the bike.
What You’ll Do
- Processing inbound shipments and getting products stocked correctly
- Picking and building customer orders with accuracy and care
- Running inventory counts to help keep stock levels correct
- Working with remote team members to coordinate order flow and updates
- Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organized
- Tackling day-to-day projects that keep operations moving
Requirements
This job requires:
- Bike shop experience (you know bikes and parts inside out — road, MTB, gravel, pedals, power meters, drivetrains, the lot)
- Attention to detail (orders must be picked, packed, and shipped correctly the first time)
- Reliability (show up on time, hit deadlines, keep things organized day after day)
- Team communication (comfortable working with both on-site and remote teammates)
- A passion for bikes (this isn’t just another warehouse job — you’ll be handling gear serious riders depend on)
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- You’ll own the warehouse flow – this isn’t just moving boxes. You’ll have responsibility for how shipments are received, orders are picked, and inventory is kept accurate and organized.
- You’ll grow with the company – we’re small and scaling fast. That means if you do great work, you won’t just stay in your lane — you’ll help shape the road ahead. This role could evolve into a team lead, content strategist, or cross-functional growth role
- You’ll have room to develop – we care about craftsmanship and career development. We’re happy to invest in the right hire with executive-level coaching, feedback loops, and opportunities to deepen your skill set
- You’ll work with people who love what they do – our team is made up of passionate cyclists who take their work seriously — but not themselves. We laugh daily, ride often, and sweat the details because we care
