Power Labor Is Hiring!
Power Labor is seeking experienced Journeyman-Level HVAC/Sheet Metal Installers for a new construction commercial project in Toledo, Ohio. We need dependable tradespeople with hands-on experience installing commercial ductwork and HVAC equipment who are ready to get to work.
Mid-level journeymen with solid, verifiable commercial experience will be considered. Work is based in Toledo, with the possibility of assignments extending into surrounding areas.
Job Responsibilities
- Install commercial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems on new construction projects.
- Install HVAC equipment, blowers, and related mechanical components.
- Measure, lay out, fit, assemble, and install duct systems according to project specifications.
- Read and follow construction drawings, plans, and installation instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal tools safely and effectively.
- Coordinate with other trades on active construction sites.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while meeting project deadlines.
Requirements
- Verifiable experience in commercial HVAC and sheet metal installation.
- Journeyman-level skills preferred; qualified mid-level journeymen will be considered.
- Hands-on experience with commercial ductwork, HVAC equipment, and blower installation.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow installation layouts.
- Must have the tools and practical skills necessary to perform the work.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to report to jobsites in Toledo and surrounding areas.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be willing and able to pass pre-employment drug screening and a background check.
- Must provide and wear required PPE, including hard hat, safety-toe boots, safety vest, safety glasses, and work gloves.
- Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and ready to work the full schedule weekly.
Schedule & Project Details
- Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM.
- Four 10-hour shifts per week.
- Start times may be adjusted as daylight hours change.
- Project expected to last at least two months, with potential for additional work.
- Work is primarily in Toledo, Ohio, with possible assignments in nearby areas.
