Job Description

Power Labor is currently seeking 3 experienced Commercial Electricians for an upcoming three-story commercial office building project in Savannah, GA.

We are looking for skilled, dependable electricians with hands-on experience in commercial electrical installations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, be comfortable working from blueprints, and possess the ability to complete electrical installations safely and efficiently.

This position offers a consistent daytime schedule, opportunities for overtime, and the potential for an extended assignment based on project needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform electrical installations for a multi-story commercial office building.
• Install and maintain lighting systems, electrical panels, switches, outlets, and related equipment.
• Pull, route, and terminate electrical wiring throughout commercial structures.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install EMT and other electrical conduit using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Install and connect electrical panels, circuits, breakers, and distribution equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify appropriate repairs or solutions.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Install and service electrical components associated with generators and other commercial equipment.
• Ensure installations meet applicable NEC requirements, local electrical codes, and project specifications.
• Work alongside other electricians and construction trades to complete project milestones.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA and company safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience as a Commercial Electrician.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Experience pulling wire, bending conduit, and installing electrical panels and lighting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams.
• Familiarity with electrical tools, testing equipment, and jobsite safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a construction crew.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work the scheduled 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM shift.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working on active construction sites.
• Must have appropriate electrical hand tools and required personal protective equipment.
