SMALL ENGINE MECHANIC - GOLF CARTS

Power Equipment Solutions (PES) is a fast-growing, family-owned equipment company serving Central and Southwest Ohio since 1999. With strong growth potential and a highly recognized product line—especially our premium, Made-in-the-USA E-Z-GO golf cars—we are excited to expand our team. We are currently seeking a skilled Golf Car Mechanic/Small Engine Mechanic to join our Springfield location.

What You’ll Do

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on golf carts and utility vehicles.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Test-drive vehicles and evaluate systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Review and interpret work orders, technical manuals, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Coordinate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary components.
• Complete repair tasks efficiently, accurately, and to company standards.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems.
• Communicate clearly with the Service Manager regarding additional repair needs and estimated timelines.
• Complete warranty repair work according to manufacturer specifications.
• Test repaired equipment to verify proper performance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to work independently with strong self-motivation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including understanding of electrical/electronic systems.
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
