Funciones de Puesto

Definir las estrategias comerciales, así como planificar los recursos (equipo de personas y presupuesto económico) requeridos en su área de influencia para cumplir con los objetivos comerciales.

Planificar y realizar las visitas y contactos con los clientes clave (grandes cuentas nacionales) y participar en los foros acordados en la estrategia comercial.

Colaborar en el desarrollo de negocio a través de la consecución de acuerdos situados en un marco global.

Realizar el seguimiento tanto colectivo como individual del plan comercial para conocer el grado de cumplimiento de las acciones y/o estrategias definidas.

Diseñar y supervisar el cuadro de indicadores (KPIs) del área, así como la introducción y el registro de las acciones en el sistema de gestión del área (CRM).

Compartir de manera interna con los departamentos responsables, las necesidades detectadas procedentes de los clientes, así como la evolución del mercado.

Participar en el diseño de las estrategias de Power Electronics a nivel de producto y promoción y posicionamiento de la marca.

Construir y mantener una red de venta, reclutando, formando y motivando al equipo para facilitarle la consecución de los resultados.

Realizar el seguimiento de las personas de nueva incorporación en puestos con dependencia directa.

Evaluar el desempeño y rendimiento de sus colaboradores directos.

Realizar todas aquellas tareas encomendadas por su responsable inmediato tanto asociadas con su área como vinculadas a otros departamentos para asegurar el correcto desarrollo del trabajo.

Cumplir con la matriz de roles y responsabilidades en materia de seguridad y salud en su puesto de trabajo (P14.130S-F01).

Gestión del control y revisión de la asistencia y/o ausencias de los equipos de su área de responsabilidad.

Definir la política de incentivos asociada cada delegación y/o delegado.

Académica

Licenciatura y/o Grado Universitario, preferiblemente, relacionado con ingeniería industrial

Máster en Administración y Ventas (MBA)

Informática

Nivel profesional de paquete office 365, experiencia en manejo con ERP y CRM

What You’ll Do

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Sales Director to lead commercial growth in the renewables and data center markets. This senior role offers autonomy to define and execute sales strategies, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and close high-value deals for our solar and storage solutions. You will operate in a highly competitive environment, leveraging your deep industry knowledge and technical acumen to position Power Electronics as the preferred partner for Independent Power Producers (IPPs), developers, EPCs, OEMs, and system integrators. Your main duties will include:

  • Define and execute commercial strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives within your assigned territory, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Actively prospect and sell to leading Independent Power Producers (IPPs), Developers, EPCs, system integrators, and OEMs, while expanding Power Electronics’ presence in the renewables and data center markets.
  • Drive business growth by securing contracts and master supply agreements for solar and storage products, while maintaining accurate records of opportunities, proposals, and contracts using the company’s CRM system.
  • Represent Power Electronics at industry events and strategic meetings, planning and executing regular visits with key customers to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities. Expect up to 50% domestic travel and occasional international trips to our HQ in Spain.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring retention and satisfaction, while collaborating with internal teams to share market trends, customer needs, and support proposal development, project handover, and account management.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10 years of experience in sales within power generation, energy storage, or power delivery industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and closing complex deals in competitive markets.
  • Deep understanding of solar and storage technologies, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Strong technical acumen to communicate value propositions and product advantages effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Office 365; MBA or engineering background preferred.
  • This position is remote but ideally based in New York, Kansas City, or Chicago, with openness to travel across the East and West Coast as needed.
