Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day café operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely deliveries
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise front- and back-of-house staff
- Foster a positive team culture and provide ongoing coaching and support
- Conduct performance evaluations and address employee concerns
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service
- Address customer feedback or complaints promptly and professionally
- Monitor dining area for cleanliness and service flow
- Track daily sales and labor reports
- Manage cash handling and POS procedures
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis
- Collaborate on local marketing initiatives and seasonal promotions
- Update menu boards, signage, and social media content when needed
- Previous experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality management (2 years preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills
- Ability to work early mornings and weekends as needed
- Food Safety Manager Certification (preferred or willing to obtain)
- Fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Standing for extended periods and occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs)
- Early mornings and weekend shifts required
Salary : $20 - $22
