Powell Supportive Services, Inc. is a licensed private home care agency licensed by the State of Florida. We service the DD Waiver, ADA Waiver, Cystic Fibrosis Waiver, TBI Waiver and PAC Waiver. The office is open five days a week and we provide on call service 24/7. Our staff includes experienced Personal Care Aides, Home Health Aides, Massage Therapists, Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses. We assist the elderly and adults with various disabilities to remain in their homes and Assisted Living Facilities.
Job Description
Duties Include:
*Experience working with Developmentally Disabled Individuals.
*Meal preparation, planning, and serving
*Taking clients to appointments, errands, and shopping, bring back receipts and reports from the doctors office etc.
*Routine housekeeping, vacuuming, laundry, cleaning.
Must have a clean drivers record and valid drivers license.
*Assisting in personal care needs like bathing, dressing, and grooming
*Demonstrate trust, team work, integrity and respect
*Have excellent interpersonal skills,
Qualifications
Requirements:
*Must be able to work overnights
*Must have reliable transportation
*Med Tech Certificate/65G-7
*Zero Tolerance and Core Competencies Training
*ALF (Assisted Living Facility) Training
*Valid CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen Certifications
*HIV/AIDS Training
*AHCA Background Screening Level 2
*TB Test Screening
*Valid Florida Driver's License
*Proof of Vehicle Insurance
*Current Vehicle Registration
*Social Security Card
Additional Information
