Job Title: Community Companion & Employment Coach
Location: Bradenton, FL
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00/hour DOE
Hours: Part-Time | Initially 20–25 Hours per Week | Flexible Days, Evenings and Weekends

Our client family is seeking a dependable, active, and compassionate Community Companion & Employment Coach to provide one-on-one support to a friendly 35-year-old woman as she builds confidence, develops community connections, and works toward greater independence. This is a long-term opportunity that may grow into a full-time professional position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in caregiving, supported living, education, coaching, vocational rehabilitation, or community-based support preferred

• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and safe driving record

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends

• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

• Dependable, punctual, and able to provide professional references

• Patient, positive, and comfortable maintaining consistent routines

The Community Companion & Employment Coach will help plan and participate in meaningful activities such as exercise, volunteering, social groups, community events, meal planning, grocery shopping, and budgeting. Once employment is secured, this person will provide job coaching during onboarding and training by documenting instructions, practicing tasks, and encouraging workplace independence.

Responsibilities include:

• Build a positive, trusting relationship while supporting personal growth and independence

• Plan and participate in community outings, fitness activities, volunteer opportunities, and social events

• Provide job coaching during onboarding, training, and early employment

• Help develop routines, schedules, healthy meal planning, budgeting, and daily life skills

• Use positive reinforcement and calm redirection to help manage anxiety or stressful situations

• Maintain consistent communication with the family regarding schedules, progress, and goals

• Encourage confidence, independence, and meaningful community engagement

• Serve as a positive role model while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

The ideal Community Companion & Employment Coach is energetic, creative, caring, and fun, with interests in fitness, music, food, sports, or community activities. Mileage for approved travel and expenses for shared activities will be reimbursed.
