• Can you switch between product lines, materials, and setup configurations without missing a beat?
• Are you fluent with tape measures, rulers, and converting fractions to decimals (and vice versa)?
• Do you thrive working solo or in a small team, keeping a clean, organized station?

The role at a glance

• Build precision sheet metal components to spec using CNC press brakes as your primary machine.
• Cross-train and contribute on CNC turret punch press/laser cutting equipment when needed.
• Own your machine health with routine preventative maintenance.
• Follow the Powell Quality System and complete required safety training.
• Process shop floor orders via the Powell Oracle MES software and use Microsoft Office tools.

What we expect

• High School Diploma or equivalent desired.
• Blueprint literacy, including tolerance interpretation.
• Confidence with precision hand tools: square, protractor, caliper.
• Minimum 2 years operating and programming the above-mentioned equipment.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs frequently.
• Self-starter who meets quality targets without direct oversight.
