What are the responsibilities and job description for the Colly Brake Press Operator position at Union Metal Industries Corporation?
THIS POSITION IS FOR AFTERNOONS
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
All Colly Brake Press Operators will form tubes on the Colly Press. Tubes can range in size and shape (50lbs. to 2800lbs). Use Overhead remote-controlled crane and Jib crane.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily shift crane inspection
- Follow work orders
- Operate Computer
- Change out the dies and punches
- Operate Colly Press
- Operate Gantry
- Help load and unload crane
- Clean area at the end of shift
- Job duties are subject to change
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift/push/pull/bend up to 100 lbs
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, climb and walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in all types of temperatures
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have computer skills
TOOLS REQUIRED:
Palm buttons, tape measure, paint stick, turning bars, any other tools needed for the job
PPE REQUIREMENTS:
Ear protection, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses and/or goggles, hard hat, gloves to fit the job
