Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items and specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through suggestive selling techniques like OpenTable reservations or special promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Assist with food preparation, food handling, and basic kitchen support when needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems, and manage cash handling responsibilities responsibly.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering.
• Strong knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy service hours.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing attentive guest services in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Experience with reservation platforms like OpenTable is a plus for managing guest seating efficiently.
