What You Will Do
- Represent clients in personal injury matters from initial litigation through settlement or verdict.
- Draft and file litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and legal memoranda.
- Conduct and defend depositions.
- Handle mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings, including jury selection, opening/closing statements, and examinations.
- Collaborate with paralegals and litigation support staff to ensure thorough case preparation.
- Active membership in the South Carolina Bar, in good standing.
- Minimum 3 years of litigation/trial experience in personal injury or related areas.
- Strong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
