Maintenance Staff

Part-Time Maintenance/Janitorial Worker
Hours: Saturday & Sunday | 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance/Janitorial Worker to join our shopping center maintenance staff on a part-time basis. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the shopping center's common areas, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our tenants and visitors.

The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, takes pride in their work, and can work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and restock public restrooms throughout each shift.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all common areas, including entrances and sidewalks
• Vacuum, dust mop, sweep, and mop floors as needed.
• Clean interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Dust fixtures, furniture, railings, and other common area surfaces.
• Monitor restrooms and common areas throughout the shift to ensure they remain clean and well-stocked.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or repairs needed to the Maintenance Supervisor or Plaza Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable using cleaning equipment and supplies safely.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
