**Pay Range: $16.55-$18.54/hour, based on qualifications and experience* **

****These pay rates are based on the 2025-26 school year rates and will be updated when approved during the negotiations process for the 2026-27 school year****

**SUMMARY: **

Maintain the safety of student pedestrians as they cross designated intersections on their way to and from school.

**JOB TASKS: **

• Assist students safely across the street at designated crossing.
• Communicate with assigned supervisor or the Director of Transportation regarding incidences that occur while on duty.
• Be prepared by wearing appropriate equipment at assigned crossing.
• Report promptly at the designated time to the assigned school crossing.
• Attend work and arrive in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSES REQUIRED: **

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must complete District required professional development courses in a timely manner
• Experience working with children preferred
• Criminal background check required for hire
