What are the responsibilities and job description for the Applicant Pool-Speech Language Pathology/SLPA Intern (Spring 2027) position at Poudre School District?
To become a Speech Language Pathology intern in Poudre School District, you must complete the Speech Language Pathology/SLPA Intern application. This application is for placements starting in spring 2027.
To be considered for Speech Language Pathology intern placement in one of our schools, you should:
- be entering your final semester/year of a Speech Language Pathology/Communication Disorders program
- be able to pass a criminal background check, including submitting a complete set of fingerprints with the Colorado Department of Education/PSD
- be enrolled in a college/university that has a signed internship agreement with PSD (see below)
Placements will be completed with the following criteria:
- availability of qualified staff/educator(s) in requested areas
- willingness of schools/staff to take an intern
- outcome of internship interview between principal, lead/supervisor, and prospective intern
