Part Time Line Cook/Prep Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of breakfast and lunch dishes in the kitchen. If you have a passion for food and want to work in a dynamic culinary environment, we would love to meet you.

Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Assist in cooking and preparing various menu items

-Prepare all breakfast and lunch menu items according to Chef's standards
- Ensure all food meets quality standards and is prepared on time
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and organizing supplies
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations

-Use professional flat top grill, gas range, convection ovens, mixers, slicers, blenders, and other kitchen equipment. Properly clean and sanitize all equipment.

-Assist in ware washing as needed and properly clean and sanitize all surfaces in kitchen post service daily.

-Assist Head Baker as needed with bakery items

-Assist with catering prep and packaging as needed.

Experience
- Proven experience working in a restaurant or similar setting
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and health regulations
- Familiarity with menu planning and food safety practices
- Ability to handle knives and other kitchen equipment safely
- Experience in restaurants, catering, or the food service industry is a plus

-ServSafe certification a plus.

SCHEDULE: Work hours will be Tuesday > Saturday between 7am-3pm. PLEASE DON'T APPLY IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO WORK THESE HOURS. Hours will vary between 10-25 hours/week. SATURDAYS REQUIRED! PLEASE DON'T APPLY IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
