Job Overview
As a valuable member of the Potter Inc. Manufacturing Team, an assembler/packer performs assembly and packing of Potter products.
Job Responsibilities
- Build or assemble product at or above established standard production rates
- Interpret work orders and pull materials
- Stack completed cartons on pallets
- Label cartons
- Deliver and return raw/finished goods to their proper location
- Ability to adjust to daily demands in a professional manner
- Work in other departments as directed
- Follow Potter Inc. production, quality, and safety standards
- Keep work area clean
- Perform work as assigned by the Floor Lead or Supervisor
- Perform related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Regular and reliable attendance is required
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to interpret work instructions accurately
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
Physical/mental demands
- Mange changing demands
- Ability to work scheduled hours
- Mental alertness is required to ensure safe and accurate completion of work
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs with assistance
- Ability to use wire cutters, scissors, drill twist machine and roller cutter
- Extended sitting or standing for a minimum of 8 hours per day, or longer if overtime is needed
