We are a modern, private general dental practice located in the Potrero Hill / Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco. Our team is friendly, supportive, and focused on providing high-quality, honest care in a welcoming environment.
We are currently looking for a Dental Assistant / Front Desk team member who is personable, reliable, and thrives in a dual clinical and administrative role.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
- Assist chairside during procedures
- Take digital X-rays
- Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols (OSHA compliant)
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Answer phones, texts, and emails
- Verify and collect co-payments; assist with patient check-out
- Keep clinical and front office areas organized and efficient
Qualifications
- Current California X-ray license (required)
- CPR certification & Infection Control certification (required)
- Dental assisting experience preferred
- Familiarity with Dentrix (preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent chairside manner
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
