Overview:
Potpourri Group is seeking a Junior Email Designer to join the eCommerce email marketing team, creating email templates and original designs utilized in weekly campaigns, promotional offers, and transactional/event-based sending. Must be able to balance creativity and strategic thinking while demonstrating an ability to create visually compelling and highly engaging email campaigns.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Create engaging and on-brand designs for email that are consistent across multiple titles.
- Research and develop innovations in email design.
- Quality Assurance (QA) testing to find errors before going live.
- Communicate proactively to confirm requirements, timelines and status on work requests.
- Communicate with brands to manage and implement weekly organic Facebook posts.
Requirements:
- Formal training/education in digital design and minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in digital design.
- Email Design, Web Banner Design, Creativity, User Focused Design
- Full knowledge of Photoshop required; HTML/CSS coding a plus
- Experience in Quality Assurance (QA) testing.
- Excellent design skills with the capacity to understand how the design translates into an effective email campaign.
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple, concurrent projects and deliverables.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work well both independently and/or within a team environment.
- Experience in social media design & posting
- Must have experience with the following Systems, Languages, and Tools: Mac and PC platforms, Adobe Photoshop/Creative Cloud Programs, Facebook & Instagram.
