Potpourri Group Inc. (PGI) was founded in 1963 with a single consumer catalog. Great ideas come to life not only in formal meetings but also through brainstorming sessions, casual conversations, and spontaneous discussions. While the workload is demanding, deadlines are tight, and critical projects are always in motion, our team pulls together to make things happen - because we care. At PGI, colleagues become more than co-workers; they become part of a community. For us, this is more than just a job - it’s a passion, a purpose, and a career.

  • Daily interaction and problem solving with all teams in Product Development and Merchandising as well as overseas vendors
  • Daily review of submits received from overseas vendors. This often involves scheduling meetings with the buyer to review fabric qualities, vendor CAD designs, lab dips, strike-offs, hand looms and trims. All comments, changes, approvals are conveyed to vendors and “next steps” are outlined
  • If required, ability to offer print, pattern or embroidery direction to the buyer by researching Shutterstock print service options or other sources
  • Awareness of Time and Action calendar and milestone dates is critical throughout the development process.
