Pay: $50–$250 per job (based on job size, scope, and duration)
Potomac Drop & Haul Junk Removal is looking for dependable, hardworking crew members to assist with commercial pallet removal and residential junk removal throughout Maryland and Northern Virginia.
This is on-call work. We'll text available jobs, and you can accept or decline based on your availability. There are no guaranteed hours, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to earn extra income with a flexible schedule.
Job Responsibilities
- Load and unload wood pallets, junk, and debris.
- Perform commercial pallet removal at warehouses, loading docks, retail centers, manufacturing facilities, and industrial sites.
- Assist with residential junk removal jobs.
- Transport loads to local landfills or our pallet recycling partner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing our company.
Company vehicle provided: Ford F-350 Super Duty diesel pickup truck with a 14-foot dump trailer.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Must be able to safely lift 75 lbs repeatedly.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred Experience
- Previous pallet repair, pallet recycling, or pallet sorting experience.
- Experience working with wood pallets in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment.
- Previous junk removal, moving, landscaping, warehouse, construction, demolition, or general labor experience.
- Experience driving pickup trucks.
- Experience towing a dump trailer or equipment trailer is a plus.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
