$22 to $25 per hour, based on experience
Aquia Junk Removal is looking for a dependable, hardworking Lead Junk Removal Driver to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working outdoors, and providing excellent customer service.
You will work alongside another crew member to complete residential and commercial junk removal jobs. The ideal candidate is comfortable driving a commercial box truck, pulling and backing a trailer, and leading jobs safely and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive a commercial junk removal truck
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and in dirty, dusty, or unpleasant environments, including homes, garages, basements, attics, crawl spaces, estate cleanouts, and hoarder properties.
- Safely pull, maneuver, and back up a trailer
- Work with another crew member to remove furniture, appliances, household junk, yard debris, and other items
- Walk through jobs with customers before loading
- Communicate any pricing changes before work begins
- Take before and after photos
- Protect customers' floors, walls, and property
- Collect payment at the end of each job
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized
- Complete daily truck safety inspections
- Represent Aquia Junk Removal in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be insurable under our commercial auto insurance policy
- Experience driving a box truck or similar commercial vehicle
- Experience pulling and backing trailers
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift 75 pounds or more with assistance
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Must pass a background check
- CDL is not required
Schedule
- Part-time

- Start and end times vary based on the daily schedule
