Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Utilize tools such as multimeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and perform necessary repairs.
• Repair appliances related to HVAC/R systems and perform plumbing tasks associated with system installations or repairs.
• Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and documentation for all maintenance activities performed.
• Assist in the installation of new HVAC equipment in compliance with safety standards and building codes.
• Support property maintenance efforts by ensuring all mechanical systems operate efficiently and safely.
• Respond promptly to field service requests, providing expert troubleshooting and effective solutions under pressure.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with hands-on knowledge of HVAC/R systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge including refrigeration systems, boilers, air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and plumbing.
• Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans accurately.
• Experience with equipment repair using tools such as ohmmeters and welding apparatus.
• Familiarity with construction practices related to HVAC installation and property maintenance projects.
• Mechanical experience in appliance repair or boiler operation is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a driver preferred.
• Ability to work in the field independently or as part of a team in diverse environments requiring physical activity such as lifting or climbing ladders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
