What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Specialist position at Potawatomi Federal Solutions?
- Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
- Routing materials to prescribed storage locations, storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
- Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
- Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage.
- Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
- High School Diploma
- Valid State Driver’s License
- One (1) year of relevant experience in inventory or warehouse experience.
- Excellent attention to detail, along with outstanding verbal and written communication.
- Good interpersonal skills and be able to work with others in a team environment.
- Able to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
- Military experience or knowledge preferred, be familiar with GCSS-Army or be willing to learn and use system.
- Proficient with computer software systems such as Microsoft Office, including Excel, and Adobe.
- Light groundskeeping and housekeeping around facilities/work area.
- You may have to lift and carry equipment (i.e. books, tools) weighing approximately 45 pounds and equipment over 50 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to safely work in various weather conditions; both indoors and outdoors.
- Work in the occupation involves making repetitive motions more than 1/3 of the time.
- Requires walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, sitting, and bending for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to safely get in and out of vehicles.
