Perform the daily operations of Guest Services under the direction of the Guest Services Supervisor. Consistently provide excellent guest service by greeting and communicating with all guests in a professional, prompt, and courteous manner.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with enrollment, comping, point redemption and issuance in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Recruit and encourage new members by understanding and relaying the benefits of the program to guests.
- Act as the ambassador for the facility by greeting all guests who enter. Accurately explain current promotions to guests and encourage participation.
- Provide VIP services when scheduled to work in the Eagle Lounge. These services include: making hotel reservations, making event reservations, answering VIP phone calls, and other services as assigned.
- Provide direction and assistance to guests when requested. Support the services of other departments within the Casino (Food and Beverage, various gaming areas, Hotel).
- Be knowledgeable of all activities occurring at Potawatomi Carter Casino Hotel including marketing of operation, etc. to assist guests and fellow team members.
- Work with guests during floor promotions, special events or surveys.
- Attend meetings and training as required by the needs of the department.
- Ensure a maximum level of Team Member and guest service throughout the property in and out of the department.
- Maintain high levels of guest service, professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in all communication to our guests and about our guests, including financial data.
- Participate in special projects and all other duties as requested by marketing management.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Basic computer experience is required.
- Ability to uphold complete confidentiality is required.
- Must display professionalism when representing Potawatomi Casino Hotel Carter.
- Must work well with people; must possess excellent guest service skills and sensitivity to diverse cultures.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain accuracy is required.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations is necessary.
