Intake Opportunity & Recovery Specialist

Purpose: 

The Intake Opportunity & Recovery Specialist plays a critical role in identifying missed opportunities within the Intake Department and ensuring high-potential cases are captured, re-engaged, and advanced toward successful sign-up. This role works closely with intake specialists, team leads, and the recovery team to uncover overlooked or underdeveloped opportunities, validate case fit against firm criteria, and help drive additional retained clients.

Rather than focusing solely on auditing for compliance, this position is centered on opportunity discovery, revenue recovery, and improving overall conversion performance. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of case qualification criteria and a proactive mindset toward finding and escalating viable cases that may have been missed.

This role will work five days per week in person in our Lake Mary office. The compensation range for this full-time position is $21.00 per hour to $25.00 per hour depending on experience, plus a discretionary bonus and benefits.

Essential Functions:

• Review declined, abandoned, or underdeveloped intake cases to identify missed opportunities that meet firm criteria.
• Re-evaluate cases with a strong understanding of qualification standards to determine potential for recovery and sign-up.
• Partner with the recovery team to route viable opportunities for follow-up and conversion.
• Identify trends in missed opportunities and provide insights to improve intake performance and decision-making.
• Collaborate with intake specialists and team leads to reinforce understanding of case criteria and improve initial evaluations.
• Monitor open and in-progress opportunities to ensure timely follow-up and maximize conversion potential.
• Provide feedback focused on improving win rates, not just compliance, helping the team close more deals.
• Assist in developing processes and workflows that enhance opportunity identification and recovery efforts.
• Track and report on recovered opportunities and impact to overall performance.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in intake, case evaluation, sales, or a related role preferred.
• Experience in legal intake, lead conversion, or opportunity recovery strongly preferred.
• Strong technical skills including Excel and Data Management experience preferred.
