Duties
- Operate aluminum extrusion brake presses to bend, form, and shape metal components with accuracy and consistency.
- Set up and adjust machinery based on detailed work orders and technical drawings.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor machine operations during production runs, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on brake presses, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Document production data accurately and report any machine malfunctions or quality issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimize workflow.
Experience
- Prior experience operating brake presses or similar sheet metal forming equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge of aluminum extrusion processes is advantageous.
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision in manufacturing tasks.
- Basic mechanical skills for machine setup, adjustment, and troubleshooting.
