Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage steel erection projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage steel erection projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans
- Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and clients
- Monitor project progress and resolve issues on-site
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Manage materials, equipment, and manpower efficiently
- Prepare progress reports, change orders, and project documentation
- Conduct site meetings and inspections
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in steel erection or structural steel construction
- Strong knowledge of steel erection methods, drawings, and safety standards
- Proven experience managing multiple projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret structural and shop drawings
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
- OSHA certification preferred
