Remote Work Requirements
- This position offers the option to work remotely. Candidates must connect equipment directly to their home router (Post provides a 50-foot Ethernet cable; no wireless connections). Minimum internet requirements include 25 Mb download speed, 15 Mb upload speed, and latency below 40 for reliable audio quality. Test your speed at www.speedtest.net (select Boston, MA–Comcast).
- Candidates are responsible for ensuring their internet meets these standards before the start date. A dedicated, quiet home workspace free from distractions is also required.
- Proactively build and sustain positive, supportive relationships with students as they are welcomed into our learning community, fostering strong connections to the University and serving as a consistent, reliable student service resource throughout their academic journey.
- Communicate directly, effectively, and consistently with assigned students to keep them informed, engaged, and connected through graduation using phone, email, and University technology systems. Respond to student inquiries promptly, typically within the same business day.
- Actively manage and independently own an assigned student caseload, advocating for student needs and coordinating support across all University departments.
- Leverage University systems to track, assess, and monitor student progress toward program completion and graduation; regularly report progress metrics to management.
- Analyze student data from internal systems and external sources to generate insights that improve retention, enhance the student experience, and strengthen service delivery.
- Collaborate proactively and creatively—both independently and as part of the Student Success Advisor team—to identify barriers to academic success and develop solutions that support persistence and retention.
- Introduce, educate, and train students on University systems and tools, including Web Registration and Blackboard.
- Accurately communicate and support the University's academic standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide guidance related to academic progress, course planning, degree selection, and work-life balance.
- Coach and counsel students on strategies for success, overcoming challenges/objections, and navigating efficient and effective interactions with Post University.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience can be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Veterans/Military experience preferred.
- Knowledge of military educational programs desired.
- Engaging and dynamic phone presence with excellent email communication skills; clear and succinct writing ability is a must.
- Self-starter - shows initiative and can work both independently and as a team member to achieve organizational goals; must possess the ability to quickly learn and use existing and new technologies, including but not limited to Blackboard, social media, CRM, Microsoft Office Products, etc.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment that requires good organizational skills
- Dedicated to student success with the desire to be responsive to both students and colleagues
- Ability to connect and develop relationships with adult students and keep consistent contact with student caseload;
- Creates a positive culture and environment through attitude and behavior at all times.
