Video Production Specialist
Full-Time | On-Site Only | Sewickley, PA
Post Script Productions is looking for a full-time Video Production Specialist to join our tight-knit, talented team. We’re a small group of creative, hardworking people who genuinely enjoy what we do - and each other. This is an on-site position in our Sewickley-area office. Remote work is not available.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of video production, including pre-production planning, filming, lighting, and audio capture
- Edit video content using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder)
- Support studio and field shoots, including thoughtful equipment setup, breakdown, and pack-out
- Take ownership of production gear and workflows, ensuring equipment is properly labeled, packed, stored, and ready for upcoming shoots
- Maintain organized project files, footage, and digital assets using consistent naming conventions and folder structures
- Proactively track footage, batteries, media, and gear needs to prevent issues before they arise
- Collaborate closely with our team while also being comfortable working independently and following established processes
- Interact with clients professionally and represent the company well on set
- Work occasional evenings and weekends based on project needs with flexibility built in - off-hours work is balanced with adjusted schedules or comp time whenever possible
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys systems, checklists, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes while also bringing a creative eye and curiosity to the storytelling process. This role plays a key part in keeping our productions running smoothly — from capturing footage to maintaining equipment and staying organized behind the scenes. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in ownership, reliability, and consistency.
Requirements
- Professional, real-world experience in video production
- (This role requires experience beyond college coursework or student projects.)
- Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift production equipment
- Reliable transportation
- Someone who thrives on a small team, communicates well, and brings a positive attitude
- Must work on-site in our Sewickley office
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
- Motion graphics experience
- Photography skills
- Lighting design knowledge
