Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of construction sites, including dust removal, debris clearance, and surface cleaning
- Use hand tools and industrial cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor buffers, and duct cleaning tools to achieve a spotless finish
- Safely handle heavy lifting tasks and manual handling of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Apply safety protocols consistently, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and safety glasses
- Conduct outdoor work activities like pressure washing building exteriors and outdoor surfaces
- Clean HVAC ducts, vents, and other hard-to-reach areas to ensure air quality standards are met
- Use fire extinguishers appropriately during safety drills or emergencies when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of all cleaning equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Follow detailed safety procedures during all tasks to prevent accidents or injuries
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring client satisfaction with the cleanliness of the completed project
Qualifications
- Prior experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to operate ladders safely and efficiently for high-reach cleaning tasks
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including floor buffing, pressure washing, and duct cleaning
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools and industrial cleaning equipment
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual handling, PPE use, and fire safety measures
- Outdoor work experience is advantageous due to the nature of some cleaning tasks performed outside the building site
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks throughout the workday
