Blue Jay Manor and Hilton Manor are small, home-like Congregate Living Health Facilities (CLHFs) that provide collaborative, resident-centered care. Our residents are supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes CNAs, LVNs, RNs, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, dietary, and social services, all working together to support each resident’s physical, emotional, and social well-being.
As our Activities Coordinator, you will be a key part of this care team. Your work directly impacts resident mood, motivation, and quality of life by creating opportunities for connection, engagement, and purpose every day.
Position Overview
We are seeking a warm, dependable, creative, and highly organized Activities Coordinator to serve two Redlands locations. This full-time role is responsible for designing, organizing, and leading all resident activity programming, ensuring every resident including those who are bedbound, nonverbal, or medically fragile are included in meaningful ways.

- Ability to plan, organize, and lead group and one-on-one activities
- Willingness to collaborate with CNAs, LVNs, RNs, PT, OT, and facility leadership
- Ability to manage supplies, calendars, and documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain monthly activity calendars for both locations
- Design and lead a wide range of social, recreational, sensory, and cognitive activities
- Provide individualized engagement for residents who require one-on-one or modified programming
- Coordinate internal events, outside entertainment, and special celebrations
- Assess resident preferences and tailor programs to meet evolving needs
- Maintain attendance and participation records
- Collaborate with Nursing Managers, therapists, and facility leadership to support resident-centered care
- Order and manage activity supplies and materials
- Coordinate with dietary, nursing, housekeeping, and maintenance teams for events and activities
- Create seasonal and holiday décor to enhance the home-like environment
- Evaluate and refine programming quarterly to maintain high quality and relevance
- Attend planning and special event meetings as needed
- Maintain professional reliability, dependability, and attendance
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in activities, recreation, resident engagement, or healthcare preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- BLS (CPR) certification required or willingness to obtain
- Activities Certificate required or willingness to obtain
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
